Co-Leadership of MtS

A unique feature of Making the Shift Youth Homelessness Social Innovation Lab (MtS) is that it was co-created and is guided by a collaborative leadership partnership consisting of a university-based partner, the Canadian Observatory on Homelessness (COH) and a community partner, A Way Home Canada (AWHC).

York University, host institution to the COH, plays host to MtS.

Together, the COH and AWHC bring extensive leadership experience to efficiently manage MtS, while ensuring activities build on, leverage, and maximize current research, advocacy efforts and communities of practice.

Incorporating this partnership within the management and operations of MtS is crucial for sustaining dialogue between research, policy and practice, and for scaling solutions.
